although i wasnt fishing, i was at work on the rail yard at adm watching a couple boats pullin em out of the water today… right down from the mn/wi bridge 
one boat i saw snagged a couple nice ones within a 3 minute span drifting ….all the while im stuck at work 
I found a couple there today. Its funny because last week they didn’t seem to be there.
yeah it seems its def hit or miss, a lot depends on the technique, ive seen boats stay there for a few hours and nothin and another boat coms through and limits out in 20 minutes…. all spring summer fall i see it every year
