On a day when bites are hard to come by it is nice when they are the right ones. Managed to get some bites drifting and pitching jigs with minnows in 7 to 12 feet of water including this 10.4 lb walleye CPR.

nice fish Joe…where/when were you fishing? Its not Pool 4 for sure the past week…there would be lots of boats in your backround…

We fished nine hours and had 9 bites. It just happend to be big fish for some reason. Up until Noon we did not have any bites. we fished everywhere from the head of the lake to the dam scour hole. I think all our time was wasted until noon. And my fishing partner was a big plastics guy and he never got a bite on plastic.

Wow what a toad!!! That’s what keeps me going back every spring even though I can never get that special bite. Congrats!

Awesome fish! I’m still waiting to hit 30″ for a replica to put on the wall with a belly like yours! One thing about looking for that big bite is it sure isn’t fast and furious, but its more peaceful not fighting the crowd at the dam! Congrats again!
