Never had a problem with the stickers up till last year (had to buy stickers 3 times last year), I cant keep them dam things on.. I just lost my second set this year. Anybody else have trouble with these stickers? Maybe its the cold? Like I said ive never had a problem since last year and this year seems worse.
The sticky part of the sticker stays there but the outer plastic is gone and it takes the numbers with it..
Anyone have any hot tips to keep these on?

Maybe contact the dnr and make them aware of the adhesion/separation failure and see what they have to say. Were you sticking them to a cold boat? Try warming the boat with a hair dryer, apply sticker, then warm it again?

I lose a sticker every year. The DNR is well aware of the problem. But why fix it? They make more money off you by printing off duplicates and charging you for them!

Color photo copy a few extras before you put them on the boat. If they come off, put the paper copy on with packing tape.

Probably get in more trouble for doing that than I would for not having a sticker

I’ve often thought about placing some clear contact paper over the top of them.

    Sad, but true.

Same problem, when I spoke to the woman behind the counter she said”maybe its moisture” but I can buy new ones. B.S.. I took some of my wifes fabric glue and stuck them back on. they aren’t pretty but they are staying put.

It is just the opposite in Iowa. You can barely get them off.

Well as with a few other things the Minnesota DNR should take lessons from the Iowa DNR. JMO
