My folks are big-time gardeners, and they always start enough to share for our garden. I think Mom mentioned she’ll be starting most of her stuff around April 1st. I’ve got a variety of tomatoes, jalapenos, and bell peppers coming from them. This will be my first year with garlic–I put that in in the fall. I hope that grows well because we use a lot of garlic!

I’m starting mine in a couple weeks. No heat in it so I have to wait until the boards, the cups set on, hold enough heat at night to keep the plants from freezing.

I started my peppers on Wednesday night. My wife’s aunt went to a local garden center and bought some seeds. By the time I was finished I had 360 peppers planted… They are all hot varieties. I’m the only one in my house who likes spicy food. Im sure they won’t all make it but I’ll still have way too many. I haven’t even started the sweet peppers yet, or the tomatoes. All the snow must be clouding my brain.
