For those who have run Symetre’s, what’s the difference to the Stradic ?
The Stradic uses a worm gear for the oscillation compared to a round gear in the Symetre’s. While in the smaller reel sizes, it doesn’t show much in how the line lays on the spool (or just not as obvious), but when you get to like a 4000 size its like very obvious. The line wrap on the Stradics after a days worth of fishing, will ususally stay evenly and extremely cylindrical. While compared to the lower class reels, the lines on the spools might saddle or bulge or appear lopsided.
