Took advantage of a beatiful day to find some active trout hanging out in the sunshine willing to take a size 12 bead headed prince nymph. With so much time lately devoted to winter river walleye fishing it was nice to relax and not have to worry about boat control for a day. CPR season in SE MN. Look for sunshine hiting bedrock in the stream bed.

The streams appear to be running just as low and clear as they are in SW Wisconsin where I have been fishing lately. I think a little rain/melt might help things some.
Yeah, I hear yah. The whole stream was not biting yet.
