Looks like they’re still stuck down on 12.

The average date for ice out on Pepin is March 27th. Don’t think that’s going to happen this year.

03/25/13 Outdraft indicators go out at 40,000 cfs. The current flow is 19100 cfs. 24 hr precip is 0.02. The River ice above the dam is starting to open up along the main channel only but the back waters still have stationary ice. There is approximately 2 inches of ice in the pool. The tailwater is open.

my kid got married this weekend.. and driving up the river, the water below the dresbach dam is open on the main channel well past down town LaCrosse, and both the old and the main channels are open for a few miles above the Dresbach dam.. I beleive as far as Dakota.. if not further.. after that I was too in a haze to concentrate.
