Not sorry to see him go. Then again not sure how good of a replacement we can expect. You can most likely kiss all the instate players who were thinking of playing here goodbye.

If I read the story correctly at the end it implied that a high school junior is calling the shots, it basically said this high school junior has a list of coaches he wants in place in order for him to consider playing for the Gophers……

Well maybe that is true but really what difference does that make? If the kid is as good as everybody says he will be one and done anyway. But, Tubby and his style wasn’t going to help draw Tyrus anyway.

Cmon’ Brian, you’re not a fan of bball so don’t pretend to be…do the kid from AV a little justice and get his name right at least…(Tyus).

It’s not as bad as it was a few years ago with these young ‘studs’ leaving for the NBA after one year in college…not saying it can’t happen, just not the big craze that it once was. Tubby was overhyped coming in and never met the high expectaions. I hope for the sake of Gopher hoops that we hire a credible coach and get the #2 Jr. guard in the nation signed!

Said on the news this morning he is gone and so is about 2.5 million dollars as a buy out.

Wish I could not do my job and get 2.5 mill….

Public schools, can’t waste money fast enough.
