West Lake Okoboji?

    Hey guys;I’m heading to west lake Okoboji Iowa, this June.

    Just looking for any info for the area,fishing,resturants,guides ect….

    Any info would be much appreciated.

    I will have my own boat,fishing for walleyes, & panfish.

    No shortage of good places to eat although none are cheap, what will you want to target depends on who you would look for as a guide.. Briging your own boat, if so not that challenging of a lake to fish…

    Might want to give spirit a try too, walleye fishing was great there last year.

    Whatcha looking to fish for?
    AKA species?
    Bass… pitch or slip bobbers with a leech under docks is a guarantee along with some nice Gills

    Walleys are off humps and drop offs at this time

    better get out early in the morning and at sundown as the people with water toys are out in full force during that time frame

    boji burritos…. I think it moved but the building is wild so easy to spot.

    Gone, still have Burrito Hut and Taco House and a couple other mexican places but they come and go like the snow it seems… 3-4 Chinese places, several bar type eateries and a couple steak places…
