Does any one know if i can use a 50 amp 12 volt fuze on my jumper cable on a 24 volt trolling motor. It is the type that attaches to the terminal of the battery. I would be attaching to positive pole.

    Thanks in advance

What trolling motor do have ?

Most all TM’s should have a 60amp or higher circuit breaker connected ,which means NO inline fuse needed .

I would recommend the 60 amp.
I ran a 50 amp on my old trolling motor but if I ran it on high a long time I would trip it. I then had to wait for the fuse to cool before resetting it.

Its a V2 24 volt trolling motor. It has two inline fuses on two of the positive cords that that came with it but no fuse in the jumper cable.

so if I get a 60 amp breaker where in the set up should it be since I already have two in line fuses. And should I or do I need to remove the inline fuses. Sorry on my ingnorance on electrical systems but just want to be safe on the water.

    Thanks again.

Minnkota reccomends a 60amp breaker (not a fuse) on all of their 24v units as close to the battery as you can get it.
