Green Bay lodging

This year, instead of heading to northern Mn for the walleye opener, my group is planning a trip to Green Bay. We are heading up the 3rd week of May.

I have been searching for lodging on the west side of Green Bay, from Green Bay north to Oconto. I believe one of my members said he would prefer to be around the Oconto area.

Ideally we would like a place with cabins and a harbor so we can dock the boats – preferably with electrical outlets near the docks. Surprisingly, while searching for lodging and resorts, I cannot find anything on the west side of Green Bay. I have never been out there – are there no places on this side of the bay? Most of the places I find are on the east side, closer to Sturgeon Bay.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as lodging on the west side of Green Bay?

    Thanks

Send Bret King a PM. He is connected with AIM and they are having a big tourney in Oconto so he should have the lodging info.

Not much on west shore at all. If you have a Camper, there are some options just north of Oconto. Harbor has no hookups and with the extreme low water that may cause access issues.

Unfortunately there is not much available over on the south west shore. Like mentioned above there is a campground just north of Oconto which is at county park #2 with a boat launch but due to low water there you would probably not be able to launch. The best access to the water would be in the Oconto River. There is a nice Hotel in Oconto that I would recommend but not any cabins or resort.
