LOL, I told her at 10 to go to bed. Its her fault if I did.

I had a feeling, but thought it was wishful thinking. I’ve seen Chicago do it like this plenty of times. Play a sloppy game, put pressure on in the end and come up with a win.
That’s confidence.
Jacques Lemaire can go suck on a stick of gum!
March 30, 2013 at 1:07 am #1157491Hackett has been great tonight. Keep it up and the streak will continue.
Good kitty!
March 30, 2013 at 1:46 am #1157499The cat doesn’t come out unless the Wild deserve it. They stunk it up tonight. The last 3 games have been iffy, but tonight was horrible.
How many odd-man rushes did the Stars have in the first half of the game? The Wild in the first part of the streak were tenacious with their fore check, getting a lot of turnovers. Its as if they all just want to score now and not play defense or the other parts of the game.
At least we get to see them goon it up at the end here.
Tough game tomorrow.
March 30, 2013 at 2:03 am #1157504It’s good to see the emotion at the end of the game. They obviously don’t like to lose. Can’t say that about past seasons.
I’m a little worried about Backs tomorrow. He definetly needed a night off, but a major change in the routine scares me. Goalies are fragile
March 30, 2013 at 3:16 pm #1157588Yeah, it seems a bit odd, but I think Backs will respond.
I hope that they get their play in their own zone and forecheck together tonight. Like I said, they were very fortunate to win the one against Dallas and Phoenix before last night. I really want to see them get pesky again in the offensive zone and not allow easy break outs.
March 31, 2013 at 12:01 am #1157705Has Coyle looked a little flat the past few games to you? By no means worthy of being moved back down, but I feel like he is struggling to keep up with the top line.
I think Seto should get a shot with the top line for a few shifts.
March 31, 2013 at 1:40 am #1157726Coyle must be an IDO member and read my post.
Nicely done. It looked like LA played a good game, but the Wild were able to overcome.
The rally cat can’t win em all, but it looks like he’s back on track.
March 31, 2013 at 1:46 am #1157727Coyle is a big body who can work the pucks along the boards. It doesn’t always translate to points.
You can’t touch that second line, which is actually a 1B line. Those guys work so well together and provide so much energy.
Good game in respect that they were able to work themselves back into a victory, but that PK, which was so good, needs to find itself again.
March 31, 2013 at 3:57 pm #1157839What a shoot out. What a move or moves by Parise. Then 2 unbelievable shots by Koivu and Cullen. Nice job by Backstrom too.
March 31, 2013 at 4:53 pm #1157857People used to gripe about Backstrom and the shootout, even suggesting pulling Backstrom in the shootout in favor of Harding. They are 4-1 this year I believe?
I still hate that shootouts are used, but I understand it is a necessary evil. I’d like to see them at least go to a 8 minute sudden death 4-4 period.
March 31, 2013 at 9:01 pm #1157907Nice to be able to watch a pure goal scorer.
Just remember, these guys have never played a schedule as compact and brutal as this one. Not many off days. You will see some really flat play once in a while. But, the schedule will really show up when play-offs roll around. The East will have a huge advantage.
April 4, 2013 at 2:14 am #1159160Pug, you better break another leg on that cat. That was an awful first period. Stoner looked completely lost and the rest of the D-men standing around. Suter gets walked by a D-man. Where is Cullen? Didn’t see the begining of the game. Stoner 2 dumb penalties now. I think I’ll go to bed and hope to wake up to good news.
Stoner could loose this game all by himself. HE STINKS!
