Except for the boys tourney this weekend, the hockey season is over for the year. 
My 5 year old started the season not being able to skate but made many improvement throughout the year. It will be a long wait until the spring season starts on March 16th.

Get your kids in a spring league before it is too late. Hockey is a year round sport in Minnesota. 
Oh he is already signed up. I also signed him up for dryland training this spring. 
By next fall he will be the Zach Parise of 5 year olds. That is IF he can figure out how to skate backwards. I asked him if he wants to be a goalie like his old man and he said no! I want to hit people and score goals.

Our season is over here too. We have dry land starting in a few weeks as well. It was a lot of fun to watch the improvements this year. My little guy scored his first goal of his career in his first jamboree (in the opponents goal ). The 3 jamborees that followed he got things figured out and was a machine. His last jamboree he scored 12 goals.
