Anybody fished Clinton Lake in early April? Thinking about a weekend getaway there. Any advise on lodging, fishing, etc. is appreciated. Recommendations on different lakes are welcome also. Thanks in advance.

I’d skip Clinton and hit the ‘ville. In April Shelbyville should be on fire, depending on when you go. Coon Creek lodge has some decent rooms for, I think $65 per night. Real nice guy! Federal fish cleaning stations get opened about the 15th of April.
