Keep an eye on Nick Leddy for the Blackhawks, he would look pretty good in a Wild sweater. That trade still baffles me.

He also would have looked good skating this year as a senior for the Gophers. Fletcher already admitted that it was the worst decision has had made. Hopefully the Wild can make national news tonight after beating the Blackhawks.

Could be a good game depending on which Wild team shows up. Yea Leddy would look good in a Wild jersey. My Son played against him growing up. Was always a dominant player.

I bet Pug is waiting for the game to end before he comments. We don’t want to anger the curse.

    Blackhawks 105 – Wild 1 – Mike Ditka Infinity

Who cares about Nick Leddy. If we had him we’d have two midget defensemen.

Backstrom is going to get pulled. I have never seen him scramble so much as if he is panicking. Doesn’t look like himself tonight.

I’ll be surprised if Backstrom starts the second. He’s off tonight.

Just play Zucker/Cullen/Seto the rest of the way.

Another guy having a rough night is Suter. He looks lost and is make poor decisions all over the place.

I’d have to agree. Not a good period. Could get uglier.

I remember that game though. I had a feeling they had a chance in that game, because they were dominating them.

Backstrom has to go, suter has yet to impress me this season, stoner, well name says it all. Heatley needs to start putting more effort in his game, he looks like he is in slow motion and always is tied up in front of the net.
Seto, cullen, zucker look awsome tonight, They are moving the puck great together. If we dont get the next goal it might be over.

The 50+ guys in my men’s league back check more and more effectively than Heatley does.

Seriously? I’ve seen him back check and break up many plays. We all know he is slow. He’s a big sniper who can play in front of the net, that’s his game.

Not a bad come back. It would have been different had Backs not had an off game. Also, if Flak didn’t make that stupid play that led to the 5th goal. Falk has had a rough game.

As a goalie in 3 mens leagues, I can testify to the fact that there is NO back checking in mens league. I see your point though.

There is a lot of floating and guys taking longer shifts than they should because they imagine there are pro scouts in the stands.

    I miss adult hockey.
I was known as the garbageman. Just shoot the puck and I’ll collect the garbage and throw it in the net.

Gilbert gave too many away, there were at least two goals where he was getting pressure on the way out of the defensive zone and tried to dump in off or go up the middle and was promptly picked off tic tack toe…score
