I switched to Wings Financial Credit Union a couple years ago and have been pleased. Don’t talk to Bowman, though. That guy is a tool.

Wings Financial as well. Their large office is located in Apple Valley. I use the branch in Brooklyn Park.

Been banking with Bob for almost 20 years, I can confirm that he is, in fact, a tool.

Bob works out of the Minnetonka office most days.

I’ve been an “internet” customer of Lake State Federal CU for over 20 years. I visited the branch in Cambridge once, they were shocked to see me in person.

    Congrats on ditching your bank!

We all know that Bob’s summer office is Lake Minnetonka tossing for Muskie. I think the guy wanted to know where to find him actually working.

I do not know if Affinity Plus is the best. But I have been with them for about 15 years and have been extremely happy.

Another option is Think Mutual with locations in Eagan/St. Paul/Edina. Not a CU but a smaller and customer focused mutual bank.

Depends on definition of Best. I use Thrivant because they are no-fee at any ATM (they reimburse fees others charge), I can make ATM deposits almost anywhere or use a prepaid mailer envelope. Free bill pay and transfer. I dropped Wings when they started charging for 6 bill pays or less a month. The downside is that, to actually go in and conduct business I have to go downtown MPLS. But this almost never happens. Internet banking is were it is at.

Spire since ’90. Always great service. Auto, home, boat.
