    How about those “BLACKHAWKS”, For all you non believers DO YOU BELIEVE NOW.17-0-3 23 games in a row without a regulation loss dating back to last year. They will lose one day , but the streak still continues. GO HAWKS

    Again streaks are nice but mean nothing if you are out in first or second round of playoffs

    I guess I did drop Crawford in my fantasy league. Whoops. But that was before the start of the season.

    I say the Stanley Cup is theirs to lose this year.

    Goaltending,PK, and 3rd and 4th line production that have been missing the last couple years seem to be back. This team looks a lot like, to better than the cup team to me. More depth, and 2 gaoltenders that are playing better than most in the league now. If they can stay healthy they have a solid shot. The top players on the team will need to watch the “melon shots” from the teams that can’t compete with skill.

    What a crock. If a shootout win = win, then a shootout loss counts as a loss. The NHL doesn’t have ties anymore because that’s what the shootout was put in place for.

    They should go to a 3 point system.

    3 – Win in Regulation

    2 – Win in Shoot out

    1 – Loser Point for losing Shootout.

    I heard that if they do realignment next year, there is talk of Wild Card teams. I will be ticked if they do that. Its fine in other sports, but not in hockey.

    Nevermind. Wild card doesn’t mean more teams make playoffs. 4 Divisions. Top 3 in each division make playoffs. Then the next 2 best records in the conference make it. Those are the wild cards. So you could have 3 teams from 1 division and 5 from the other in that conference.

    Sounds like the old NHL where the divisional teams would play in the first 2 rounds and then the 2 winners of each division play in the semi finals. Good deal. More rivalries can be born.
