So I’m going to Puerto Vallarta in December for a family vacation,but I’d like to go fishing one day if its worth it.Has anyone been there,know any good charters? I don’t even know if December is a good time for fishing. Thanks in advance for any advice.
I’ve fished out of Puerto Vallarta about half a dozen times. My personal recommendation is to rent a car for the day and take a trip out to the village of Sayulita, which is about 40 minutes by car.
Fishing charters out of Sayulita are normally 1/3 to 1/2 the price of the charters out of Puerto Vallarta. Sayulita is also outside the Bay of Banderas (where most of the good fishing is that time of year), which means you spent 20 minutes driving to fishable waters versus 2 hours.
Pretty cool village to hang out in for a day as well! 
Fished there several times. Fish for whats biting at the time.Ask around for prices and barter if you can.Good luck!!
