Any of you purchased a tablet for your kids, and if so which one and what age are you kids?

We are looking at tablets for my 3 yo daughter….and not sure if we should go with something like the Nabi 2 or one of the others…..

My kid is only 1 1/2 and doesn’t have a full set of choppers yet, so we don’t give him tablets. Everything is in liquid form.

There are some Vtech ones that are worth the money. Also, there are some off-brands that are failry cheap that will do what you need and you don’t need to be concerned if they break or get damanged. Go to Bestbuy.com and type in tablets for kids. lots of options

My kids got the vtechs and the iPads and iPods all thanks to in laws. If you do not own one now stay away from them!! They are brain mushers and makes kids lazy piles of poop IMHO so if you do get one set the rules and allowable play time down immediately.

my 3.5yr old daughter has been using our ipad since she was 2. There are tons of good learning apps out there you can download.

However now she just watches Mickey or Scooby on YouTube all the time.

I do agree with you very much but they work great when you need some time to yourself or need them out of your hair. Does that make me a bad dad? haha.

I would look into the InnoTab2 my 3yr old daughter got one for Christmas and she plays a lot. It takes movies and pictures and you can buy many 3 dollar games online or buy cartridges at the store or cheaper thru Amazon. She really likes the tablet.

Either nabi2 or nexus7 as they both r around 200. My twin daughters (2) each have a nabi. I think at 3 I would target a nexus7 or iPad. It is amazing what these kids know how to do by watching m and d
