My wife and I have booked a trip to the Sarasota, Florida area in March. It is just the two of us and we are staying on Casey Key. Has anybody else on here been to the area? Any must see or must do things? Thanks.
Been there and stayed on Siesta Key. Definitely recommend renting kayaks and checking out the water. You can paddle back to some awesome beaches. Also the fishing off the beaches there is very hard to beat.
It’s been 20 years since I’ve been there but Caladesi Island State Park was a awesome place to visit. The wildlife on the island was cool. Take a fising pole or two.
believe it or not .. the Circus World Museum.. Ringling Brothers is based in Sarasota.. its a one of a kind place to visit. pay a couple of bucks for the guided tour and the stories that go with it.. its worth it..
