    Straight from garage logic.

Cyl. Index is the amount of pistons you own.

    For example:

    Trk-8

    SUV-6

    slead- 2

    3 whlr- 1

    4 whlr- 1

    chain saw- 1

    auger-1

    pressure washer-1

    air comp-1

    outboard-3

    dirt bikes-2

    lawn mowers-2

    weed wacker- 1

    back pack blower-1

    Generator-1

    Snow blower-1

    = 33

It kind of makes you realize just how much fuel affects our lives.

Is that including the nail guns??? They have pistons/cylinders – I didn’t think of that or compressors…

Nope, forgot about those. I just did a quick add up of trucks, skids the big stuff. If I get down to the little stuff I’m sure we’d hit the 200-225 mark.

I was thinking the same thing then I was thinking about when I have to pee. Or is that a venture but is it a venture when I have to cut it off.

I think I’m only at 20…21 if you count my B-I-L’s chainsaw that’s been in my shed for a while.

    8 in the Sequoia
    6 in the Accord
    3 in the Merc
    1 in the mower
    1 in the snowblower
    1 in the weed whacker

    61. The cylinders are no problem. It is keeping air in the tires that wears me out.

I’m only at 10 4 in each car and 1 in the weed wacker and 1 in the mower. Now if you count the 2 4-wheelers and boat and auger I steal from my Father in-law. I have a few more.

The kind of cylinders that someone else maintains are the best ones!

Maybe I shouldn’t be posting under here because I don’t actually know how many cylinders are in each engine, but after reading the other posts I think I have it right. 27 total. I just sold an auger, snowmobile, and junked out a car, so my Cylinder Index took a big hit this year.

I’ve often wondered how many I have but have never counted it out:

    Truck – 6
Boat – 4 (I’ll admit I had to use google on that one)
    Jet Ski – 3
    4 wheeler – 1
    Chain saw – 1
    Pressure Washer – 1
    Auger – 1

If you have to pull a rope or turn a key to start it.

    Pontoon – 4

    Fishing Boat – 4

    CRV – 4

    Yukon – 8

    Mowers – 2

    Weed Whips – 2

    Leaf Blower – 1

    Auger – 1

    Snomobile – 3

    Snoblower – 1

    Total = 30

Hmmmmm… I think I need to go shopping for some more cylinders.
