    Rights are not unlimited. Free speech rights are not unlimited. You cannot yell “Fire” in a crowded theater, you cannot defame someone, you cannot lie under oath. We have regulated free speech,even though it is a right.

    Same with guns. It is a right to own firearms in this country, but a regulated one. You cannot own a bazooka, you cannot own an anti-aircraft missile. We are as a society trying to decide whether or not you need an assault rifle or not.

    I’m on the fence. You sure as hell don’t need one for hunting and all my right wing friends that own them have this fantasy of holding off the jack booted thugs from homeland security with one. Sweet dreams, kids. The cops will take you out and the media will portray you as a terrorist, so that dream will die along with you. But then again, most firearm deaths are from handguns and there is no movement to restrict them.

    The hype is primarily driven to get you guys to buy even more guns and even more ammo. If they make those guns illegal, are you all going to be felons and hide them? All you law and order types, really? There is absolutely no concerted effort to take away your guns in general, but keep on buying em guys, Remington will make more.

    well this should make you happy then! MN dems wanna get those “scary black rifles” out of the hands of law abiding citizens! What a joke, do you think the criminals are going to hand over there guns???? You give an inch they’ll take a mile folks. Next it will be semi auto shotguns (likely many are already on there list) because you dont need a semi auto to hunt ducks….. and so on
