EXPO…….. who’s going & when

    Since the weather is going to be absolute crap for ice fishing, anybody going to the show?

    I’m going to the Gopher hockey game Friday night and will hit the show Sat. I guess.

    Headed there Saturday AM. As much as I love the hardwater season, I love the open water season even more! We still have a couple months of ice left, but it doesn’t hurt to look and do some pre-season shopping does it?

    I am trying to figure out if and when I go. I can’t find anyone to go with. And the problem is that I usually get bored at these events unless there is a specific reason I am going. Otherwise it just feels like I am shopping the worlds biggest fishing store that comes with a State Fair size crowd.

    Brian is probably the main reason I would end up going. I feel sorry thinking about him as all the walleye, bass and catfish snobs stroll past his booth like he wasn’t even there. I’d like to time it so I can have a beer afterwards with an IDOer or 2.

    I’ll likely go Saturday afternoon. I’ve got a little something for Brian that I should have given him at the Roundtable. Official tie-dyed fishing socks.

    (So he can have socks that match his tie dyed longjohns)

    Thanks for the made from scratch cookies Brian. Yes that Marshall guy made another trip over and although I hid the better they weren’t hidden good enough for his sniffer.

    Thanks to all that stopped over. I hope it was the most “interesting” boot at the show.
