Wife is looking at a potential job in the area. What is the fishing pressure like on the lakes/river in the area? I mostly target walleyes, gills, and perch. I have been spending the last couple hours looking at the MNDNR lake information website that was recommended in one of the IDO episodes. Not gonna lie, kinda hope she gets the job!
Well I can tell you Superior is a BLAST. Lakers, coho and kings with somewhat consistent eyes if you are targeting them.
Lots of low pressure on lakes just to the North as well.
I wouldnt want to be any other place in Minnesota when it comes to fishing! Great variety of species to target on the big lake, also some pretty ative bites in the harbor and river. Caught this beautiful walleye just the other day! Also if you head inland there are a lot of smaller lakes that provide hot bites for just about any angler!
