Good Morning IDO. I have a Lowrance HDS-5 with base map. I would like to get a lake/Miss river map card but I am not sure which card to buy. 
I would like some input. Lakemaster, Insight, Navionics Thanks for your help
Since you have a HDS Lowrance unit, I’m pretty sure your going to want the Insight.
I still use the the old LCX units which will take a Lake master.
Give the rest of these guys a half a day and you’ll have your answer for sure.

I just purchased the insight chip and the detail is phenomenal for the bodies of water I fish. I purchased it specifically for the Mississippi River detail on pool 4 this spring. I was/ am running an older lake master as well that has less detail. I think Joel has the version after mine and, having fished with him, it has pretty good detail as well. I chose not to get the pro version that has 3D detail. Lakes the same on both.
