Hi Guys, I have a Lowrance H2O I finder that is about 5 years old. I have never been able to figure out how to erase all my old tracks and man overboard icons that the funny guys put on there. Sure its easy but can anyone help?

Once inside the window will all the trails listed, simply highlight the one you want to erase/delete and hit enter, should give you an option to delete trail otherwise it will give you an option check making the trail visable or active. Make sure both are unchecked. If visable is unchecked the H20 will save the trails but it won’t be visable on the screen.

Don’t know how to get rid of man overboard icons…sounds like a good trick though…

Put your cross hairs on the icon. Scroll through the Menu until you get to the icons or waypoints. The closest one to the cross hairs will always be at the top of the list. Delete.

That’s how it works for deleting way points, anyway.

I dont have my gps in front of me but somewhere in the menu I believe is delete icons. You should be able to select the man overboard.

Bushman, I wish I had my H2O in front of me….so this is off memory. Push the “Menu” button twice. There should be a line called “Trails or Tracking” (not sure). Select that and there will be an option to delete all your trails. Hope this works and that I steared you correctly.

    May be this will help.
The man overboard position is stored in the waypoint table for future
reference. It can be edited the same as any other waypoint in Advanced
Mode. This prevents the inadvertent loss of the current Man Overboard
    position.
