Looking for a reasonable place to stay on the Chippewa Flowage for our spring family fishing trip. We like to do a Thursday to Sunday trip in the first part of May. There are 8 adult and 3 small kids. Looking for some place on the water. Would like to all stay in one cabin or house. If anyone know of a great reasonable place to stay please let me know.

It is always hard to find the best place to stay. So I am looking for help from IDO where you can find the answers to any question.

    Any help would be great.
    Thanks

We used to stay in Treeland, great place for the kids. Those few weekends we went up there in the summer were some of my best childhood memories. I havent been there in 10 years so i couldnt exactly tell you what it looks like now, but i would recommend a stay there! I did go fishing there 2 years ago over a week and didnt catch anything more than a few bass and perch, goodluck!

We stay at Johnson’s Resort on Moores Bay. Been going there for 22 years now. Nice place and very good owners. They do have a couple of big cabins that should accommodate your party. Nice Lodge too. Playground for the kids. Give Barb a call.

X2 on Treeland. I’d go back every year for the resort but I choose Leech now cause I can’t buy a walleye on the Chip. Treeland is awesome though.

Just a couple other suggestions. Sisko’s if they’re going to remain open, is a great place. Went there for 20+ yrs., until some of my family got places near Minocqua. Herman’s Landing is pretty nice, too. Herman’s sits right where the flowage splits.

I know some folks who have a place at Pats Landing. I have stayed there a couple of times with friends, and everyone is super nice. Check ’em out.
