Looking for some input heading to Northern MN to do some Ice fishing the first weekend in Feb. Would love to get into the monster crappies. Anyone recommend an area to hit?

The best thing to do is pick an area you want to fish and use the MN DNR Lakefinder to look at surveys of the lakes in that area. If there are good numbers of fish in the 12″-14″ class hit that lake!
The more difficult it is to access the lake, the better.
