The old Ford didn’t get plugged in last night and when I turned the key to warm’er up this morning, it growled and snapped at me.

It sounded like it said “I’ll go, but I’m not very damn happy about it!”

The ice on the roof has been cracking all night. Sounds like the lake ice when the crack comes right through the fish house and makes the water jump out of the hole.

Dogs have been jumping up and/or barking at it all night. This leads to a great nights sleep.

    Good Monday Morning All!!

It can only get better. I got an awesome pair of wire cutters for ya, I just need to finish cutting up some more sheet metal and titanium with them and then I’ll bring them over for ya. Your going to love ’em

We have 10 deg’s down here and the wind is blowing hard at times that it sounds like the train across the river. Sounds like a good day to make english muffins with the grand kids.

Not my roof cracking the last few days but the house popping. Not exactly what it is. Would guess just the wood shrinking with the cold weather.

See? It’s always worse somewhere else.

I always thought it was the ice shrinking on the roof. That’s normally what it is, but I doubt many people have ice jams with the lack of snow we’ve had.

I love that. Fortunately our roof hasn’t been popping, although I’ve heard a few when I take the dogs out which makes them go nuts.

I’ve had a bit of a wobble at low speeds. Noticed my front drivers side tire is low. I should have taken care of that before today.

Get a metal roof and you don’t have to worry about ice dams or snow on your roof!

My house sure is groaning though.

+1 on the metal roof. I am in a balmy 8 degrees here in the deep south IDA land. Going to sit on the bed and sort bills and tax forms for a couple hours. Retirement meant tons of paper last year.

Sure, not starting is one way to fix what she sounds like in the morning.
