    Very unfortunate, I hope the child recovers. Why would somebody be on the ice in a vehicle with two young children. Poor decision.

    That off duty fireman is the Hero of the day! If he wasn’t there,it might have been much worse than it is today.I hope the child and the rest of the family recovers…

    I can’t imagine how horrible it would feel to be that father… Ignorance, or just a plain mistake either way it is still his child and that would be so hard to deal with. Sure hope they are all ok.

    I couldn’t agree more. My #1 rule with kids when driving on the ice is to unbuckle everyone!
