What lb test line do you guys use for your set ups? Running the dacron on the spools but am tying on a flouro leader. I am currently running 10 lb because thats what I had laying around. We’ll see if it holds up to the occasional pike. Thanks for any tips!
I have a spool of 17lb I use. Been using heavy line like that for 20 yrs doesn’t seem to bother them. Its dark down there and they hit still hit it. Had lost a few at the hole with the lighter line.
I have done just about exactly as you except I use 6 pound Flouro. I have been very happy with this.
