Can anyone recommend a good, preferably free, screen shot/capture app for Android? I have/will not root my phone so it must work with the standard OS.

    Thanks!

What phone do you have? usually there is a pre existing built in function to do this so no app is needed.

I know on the Samsung S3 besides the swipe (which is Samsung only(I think)), you can hit the power and menu button and hold to take a screen shot.

I’ve had my S3 since July. It took someone about a month ago getting the same phone to point out that feature. just paying it forward. Its a lot easier than swiping the side of your hand across the screen to get a screen grab, which worked about once every 10th time for me. Probably because of the case I had. But now I got one of those flip cases. Its pretty sweet.

The Navionics was fun watching as I drove on the ice today.
