Non-Resident License Question

    Just curious if anyone has been through this before I call the DNR.

    I was a resident of Minnesota in 2012 and purchased a non-resident WI fishing license. I moved to WI this past fall. Is my non-resident license still valid until it expires in March.

    Or, do I need to now go buy a resident license?

    Not 100% but you should be ok. I believe you have to be a resident for a period of time before you can apply for resident hunting/fishing licenses.

    6 months comes to mind. Non-resident license should cover you through March.
