Mississippi River pools 9 and 10

Welcome to IDO should be enough ice no problem any place on the river i’ve fished

There’s safe ice on most of the river, but i’ve never been to the sny magill area and i’ve heard that Johnson’s slough can be a bit dangerous. Any reports from the area would be great too!

there’s good ice on sny magill I haven’t fished it this year yet I haven’t. heard. any good reports lately with lower water levels and thick ice id venture to norweigon or sandbar in snymagill

Was at Sny last Sunday. Fished Norweigon, had good ice. Caught alot of small gills and a few keepers.

Thanks for the quick responses, guys. When you get to the parking lot there, do you head directly across Johnson’s? And can all of that slack water between Johnson’s and the main channel be fished?
