Just trying to get a feel of how to store all my plastics. I’ve bags and bags of moxies, ringworms, gulp, twisters, etc. Wondering what some you guys are using to keep them all organized so I don’t end up spending 20 min. trying to find what i’m looking for. Right now they are all just in a couple big tackle bags.

I’d sort what you have according to bait name, then go to your Menards or FleetFarm and get some plastic totes that will allow you to staore the bags sitting upright in card file fashion. Measure the various bag sizes and get totes based on the measurements. You can cut a cardboart divider to stop on bait and statr anout. Just mark on the top of each tote what’s inside. The totes can even go in the boat.

I use various sizes of zip locks and keep my plastics organized by type – thy make some Mega Zip Locks –

I then usually organize – and take what I think I am going to need for the trip. eg – I leave the bass plastics at home when I am going crappie fishing – or I leave the panfish plastics at home when I am out muskie fishing….

    2 cents.

Personally I have crappie plastic and walleye-type plastic.

I keep the crappie baits in clear plano boxes sorted bu the bait. The walleye stuff is in bags and goes into a 5 gallon pail. Want a walleye bai? Flip the pail and sort, then chuck it back in the pail. Repeat if I forget to set the working plastic aside.

I bought some soft side tool bags from Menards and sort them by style – ringworms, paddle tails, moxies, pulse-r’s, twisters…. They add up so watch out…
