I am a big fan of HOF fisherman Joe Bucher. A catch phrase of his is – Its a pig, a hog, a cow, a horse. Its a slab – a super slab.
Thus my biggest are reffered too as “super slab’s”blufloydPosts: 698January 14, 2013 at 5:04 am #1130421Botta!

January 14, 2013 at 6:12 am #1130426Several years ago I lost it watching two guys boat a big musky on tv with my kid. The one doing the netting started out the name calling by saying that the fish was a “real pig”, but immediately followed that up with “that fish is a horse!” My kid thought the guy was nuts for not knowing the difference between a fish and a horse. I’ve simply used “Dandy” to describe big fish.

When bringing/reeling it in… one of my favorites “it’s like pulling up the bottom of the lake”
In this situation , I like to remind everyone to sit down as it may ram the boat!

‘Look at dis fish. Chee’s a myooley!”

When the captain says something like that, my response is “I think we’re gonna need a bigger boat”

That would most assuredly result in great cranial blunt force trauma to the captain, if he even dared to suggest that around the home site.
