What are the best names you use when catching a big fish? Anything more creative than “Lunker,” “Pig,” or “Hawg?”

This is for my son’s school project, but might be fun to see what people come up with…

When bringing/reeling it in… one of my favorites “it’s like pulling up the bottom of the lake”

    A slober-knocker.

While it isn’t the name of a big fish, one of my favorite expressions that a buddy of mine uses when somebody makes a signficant hook-set is this: “Man, he made his pants pockets touch when he set the hook on that one!”

Usually “donkey” best describes a good one.
