Not much chatter about playing San Fran this weekend. Can only be because………..

    A) YOU ARE NERVOUS ABOUT THE OUTCOME

    B) PACKERS WILL SLAUGHTER THEM SO IT’S NOT WORTH TALKING ABOUT.

Because there is no longer any need to brag or talk crap.. we’ve eliminated the vikings, its already a successful post-season!!

Packers dumped the game to MN… to beat the Bears without even having to play them… then set the record right at home. This will be a test, but you have to like the timing of the Packers getting a few key players back. Regardless of the outcome – it should be a good game. The Pack never seems to do well after a week off anyway.

If you look back at the past posts, most of them are started by Vikes fans. Contrary to popular belief, it’s usually the purple fans who start the crap. The Packers fans just sit back and enjoy watching our team win.

I really hope for Vikings fans that you guys some day get to experience a championship so you can enjoy football more than rooting for somebody else to lose.

    Brian:

Always nervous about the outcome!!! I do like the fact that we are as healthy as we have been all season. I also like the fact that Harbaugh went to Kaepernick.

They still have a great defense and should have a good running game with Gore including Kaepernick. They are playing at home… And we are giving 3 points…

I like our chances a lot.

I also don’t buy into the week off thing!!! IMHO, I would think that we still could have been beat by the NY Giants last year no matter what!!! Our defense was the worst rated!!! The Packers organization will never publicly consider the death of the Philbin child during that week a distraction out of respect for Coach Philbin, but pro football teams are such creatures of habit and the visitation and funeral had to put a dent into that weekly regimentation.

    You are partially right.
I do root against the Packers. Not because I dislike the team but more to see what it does to their fans. I noticed this year that just about every Vikings post the Packer guys would jump in with their standard old crap. So, last week I decided I would just start Packer posts since you all feel the need to pile in anyway. So maybe we all can hope the Pack loses and then you won’t have to put up with me and I won’t have to put up with you.

I gotta believe this game will simply come down to how much time Rodgers has to throw the ball. Up until that Smith guy got hurt, I would have been very nervous about the Pack’s line. It should be a very good game.

I don’t think there’s any easy way to predict this game. I think it’s close either way, with neither team scoring over 24. I predict something along the lines of 24-20 one way or the other.

I am looking very forward to the game, the Packers are about as healthy as can be and who can’t be excited about facing a rookie quarterback with 7 starts on such a big stage. The Packers recent playoff success on the road is also a good indicator since we are playing with that same core of guys and coaches. While I am not so confident as to lay money in Vegas on them I am confident in a good game out of the Packers and a good chance at a win.

As far as smack talk goes around here from Viking fans I try not to get sucked into that anymore but at times I do. In the end it actually takes away some of the fun of participating in this board so I tend more towards ignoring it now….

viking fan reminds me of the guy that just got paid 100 dollars and flashes their cash around to anyone who will look.

I just hope it’s better than the Cincy and Vikes games last weekend. Those were painful to watch. It’s hard to stay interested during games like that.

Nervous? Yep. Its the playoffs and I want my team to win. All the teams are good and capable of winning. Gonna come down to line play. If Justin Smith is not playing at or near 100% then that means the 4 man front won’t get enough pressure without the blitz. this will be a big advantage to GB. that said GB better control the run game and make the Kap kid throw. gonna be a great day of sports! gophs at 11am, Bucky at 1:30, and the Pack!

    go Pack!

Seattle has become my 2nd favorite team. Just love that Wilson is doing well. All the experts said he would be 5th round or lower pick. Too small, etc. If the Pack don’t win I hope S-hawks go all the way.

I like Russell Wilson but dislike Pete Caroll and those cheating, big mouth dbacks immensely.

Dang straight I’m nervous about SF. I was more nervous about the queens last week though. Work would have been unbearable this week if the Pack had lost.

I like the Packs chances this week. Pack by 6.

Welcome aboard! How it will sting when the Seahawks win the Super Bowl this year putting the drought behind them while Vikings fans ask why not us. I think I just ripped myself.

    I’ll take “B”

It’s going to be the best game of the weekend
