H2O C external antenna question

    With all the posts of the h2o’s slowly loosing signal, has anyone tried the external antenna? Thinkin its a cheaper route than a new handheld when mine decides to try and retire.

    I used an external on mine, it sure pulled in more sats and quicker!! I had the Gillson off of ebay.

    Will this external work on an I-finder?

    I use an external once in awhile on my H20C that still receives a satelite signal. It does come up quicker.

    I tried using an external on my H20C that no longer received saterlite signal or would lock and it did NOTHING

    I picked mine up very resonable on ebay, and yes, I do beleive they work on most I-Finder series.
    Most ebay sites listed which models they work on…. I think
