I certainly don’t think Romney lost the election on the 2nd amendment, it was just a reference to a party without using the actual name. Really not that well hidden.

As I’ve stated before, I don’t believe that guns kill people. I also don’t believe though that attempting to restrict guns that have shown to be used in mass slayings is a 2nd amendment issue.

It is a constitutional one however but for those that are going to choose to not make progress in this country by throwing up the 2nd amendment, IMO are going to lose out.

    Again, just my opinion.

Often that which flies under the banner of progress is merely circular motion! I believe that to be the case here!

This is all for nothing anyway. Criminals don’t follow the rules and never will. It just restricts law abiding people. This ban will change nothing.

just ask any law abiding citizen that wants to buy a couple extra boxes of ammo just because they are on sale… in NY Unreal what they did today.

Yeah…Progress. Governments get bigger and better guns. Criminals get bigger and better guns. Solution…further restrict the firearms that law abiding citizens can have. The Second Amendment was put in place specifically to protect the citizens from a tyrannical government. Further restricting the rights of law abiding citizens will not make you safer. It will not make your children safer. It is just another little bit of freedom the government is taking away in an effort to control our lives.

Obama and company are not pushing for gun legislation in an effort to make our country safer. They are using a tragedy to push an agenda. They are using children to tug at the heart strings of Americans to push their agenda. When he starts making executive orders to enact gun control, he is spitting on the constitution and on every law abiding citizen.

I am tired of progress that cuts away at the Constitution and the liberty it affords. There are still Americans that believe that freedom is worth fighting for. Those that believe the Constitution is a rock solid framework for this country and not a living document that can be changed for the sake of progress. If we chose to stand idle, we will indeed lose out.
