I was looking at the 7’6″ MLXF Legend Elite as the next jig pitcher in the ol’ arsenal. Any reports or feedback?

    LES76MLXF 7’6″ ML X-Fast 1/8 – 3/8 3.8 $ 360

    Specs seem pretty nice.

Thanks for asking, no, I didn’t move, but that boat you always seen me in is now in Eagan, Minnesota. My buddy moved up to the Cities because of a job opportunity, leaving me boatless. Bad note, no boat, good note, Pool 4 when I visit is always an option. I’ll be out your way one of these days, I just need to invest in a floating device.

I think 7’6″ is a little long for pitching jigs, you will loose the sensitivity of the longer rod and control. I think the 6’8″ or 6’9″ MLXF is perfect size for pitching. I feel you have more control with that size rod and a much better feel of what the jig is doing.

I think it would be a great rigging rod when its not windy. Once again long rod and wind has a tendency to grab the rod and you loose feel..

I have both of those flavors in the Legend Extreme already, along with a 7′ MF in Legend Extreme. I was just kind of liking the long stick and was wondering if that was getting a little crazy

I have the same rod . I use to pitch with a 7 ml fast action elite . The 7 6 blows it out of the water . Would highly recommend the 7 .6 it seems a lot more sensitive and can cast a lot further. Great investment in my opinion.o
