Clam sealed bait bucket

    I got one of the new clam bait buckets for xmas and just seeing if anyone else is having problem with there seal staying in the rite spot, mine is coming off and needing to put back in every time I open or close the bait bucket…

    I’ve seen the same issue. Not a great design.

    Thanks Joe, I’m gonna try a small bead of sylicone in the seal channel to not let the seal fall out everytime, I’ll report back and let u know…

    I almost gave mine away the other days. i didnt want the next guy to be just as frustrated.

    I just did the sylicone thing and it worked great!!!

    A couple key things tho… I grabbed a brand new tube of tub and shower sylicone and cut the tip with a 1/8 inch opening (keep it small) and then put a nice bead in the seal channel then place the seal back and into place from hear i just ran my finger around the seal to remove any excess and lightly pushing seal into sylicone, let dry and good to go!!!! hope this helps!! I wonder if clam needs help with this LOL!! Should of tested product before releasing it….. Good Luck!!
