WOW AJ, you have proven yourself a football guru Dare I say without Rogers, the packers wouldn’t have a qb …. BRILLIANT

THe only difference is when A-rod retires there’s gonna be another young gun slinger for him to pass the torch on too

I can’t say the same for the VIKES

Anyone who says the refs are sympathetic to Green Bay must have missed the Seahawks game. This game SHOULD have meant nothing.

That was the most exciting game this Vikings fan has seen in a long time
    Kudos to AP and AR

I can’t believe anyone would think of trading AP

. 4 weeks ago when we would have been rebuilding next year sure. 4-0 in December and the second hottest team in the NFL changes things. Heck, who in the NFC is gonna beat the Vikings??

I dont think so. Vikes get a dropped pass go there way and score a td. What would have been the final score if they wouldn’t have that one go there way?

Don’t have a dog in the fight but I think the refs evened that on up when they gave Jennings the TD when his knee was clearly down before the ball broke the plane.

Props to the Vikes for keeping the Bears, mainly Cutler out of the playoffs. Wished AP would have broke the last one for a TD and the record.Great Year for him.

Maybe I am the only one…

I WISHED that the Vikes woulda taken a knee at the end. And then I PRAYED that Walsh would miss that Field Goal. More than ANYTHING… I wanted AP to break that record.

I am a die hard Vikings fan. Fact is.. With our current QB situation.. the Vikes aren’t going very far. I am an optomist… but I don’t see Ponder being the solution. And.. I would MUCH rather be talking in February about the Vikings having the BEST Running Back in the HISTORY of the NFL than talking about the Vikes getting beat in the 2nd round of the playoffs and missing out again on the SB.

Playoffs come and go. Records (such as this one) are almost forever!

I believe that was jones, but if the play was challenged and over ruled, then something was clear to the refs. So i dont know how it was so clear to you but not them

I agree with most of this except for one thing, I would love to go into the off season with a Viking playoff win

“that knocks the Packers out of the playoffs”.

    just one more Win!

Great game by AP and the Vikings, congrats to the vikings and their fans!!! It would of been nice to see AP break the record, he is a class act.

Just wish you could treat it like the win it was and not have to slam on GB players or saying the refs kept them in the game. As far as the touchdown by Jones, it was reviewed and ruled a TD so the Ball was in the end zone before the knee came down, they over ruled the call on the field and could see it was a TD.

If anyone believes the Refs are preferential to GB they know nothing about football.

All I have to say is enjoy it while it lasts because it won’t be long!!! Good luck in Green Bay, I’m sure it will be a good game but I think you will see a different GB team next week.

ask the detroit fans if the refs got that one right… according to the rule, which was not changed, they should have had the ball at the 15 yard line… instead the ref changed the rule last night, v=even aikman and joe bucky said, it was not what was done to the lions on turkey day, although they agreed with what was done last night is how it shoudl be…. I say they implement the rule book how it is, not “how they would like it”… either way, it was ruled a TD and mccarty and jordy could laugh it up after getting over on the ref….

“G” I don’t understand all the complaining about the Refs

You guys got the win, so what’s there to B**** about

I’m not so sure that anybody who’s complaining about the Refs would be happy, even if the vikes blew the Packers out 55-0

I am not complaining, I am explaining. Refs are a part of the game, good and bad… as long as they are impartial and using the same rule book from game to game…no matter who the team is

I was pretty disappointed in the specials coverage yesterday. They played much better the rest of the year, at least what I had watched.

Sherels ran the ball better than I’ve seen so that was a positive.

Vikings defensive backs need to pull it together in a week. GB by 345 this week.

That was a touchdown by Jones.

Also clearly the ground caused the AP fumble, even if his knee wasn’t down or did they change that rule?

In any event, this year was a great turn around by the Vikes.

I noticed that also. Those announcers and their talking points were way of the mark. Maybe they were just caught up in a very good game just like the rest of us.

I thought the refs did a great job. I kid about the Home field advantage thing. We all can pick a game out that a few calls during the game made the difference in a win or a lost.
Oddly the Pack seem to have a quite a few home games go their way.
