So my brother is getting married, and as the best man it’s my duty to plan bachelor party details. I’m thinking of a summer wknd in the Wisconsin Dells with a combination of taking my boat out on the river, casino, strip club, bars on the main strip.

So, basically wondering if anybody has any “must see” places or “must do” activities. This is my first time ever in the dells. Also will take any fishing advice for the Wis River as well

I was the best man in my friend’s wedding and we did the dells as well. Sounds like you got it covered with the above mentioned ideas. We didn’t fish though, way too intoxicated.

The only thing you forgot was to send Targa and I invites.

I went to a bachelor party In the dells about 10 years ago. We played paint ball in Lodi which isn’t too far away. Had a blast. Sounds like you got almost everything else covered. Have fun.

cruisin chubbys is on the north end of town, just don’t try crosing the road to the other bar (I was at the racetrack one night and a bachelor was run over and killed trying to cross there). I used to stop in to Nig’s and Monks downtown and “Brother in Laws” is a dance club bar. Ravina bay has a nice deck that you can watch the water ski show from. Been a few years since I spent much time down there but those are a few of the highlights.

A bunch of tuned up guys racing go carts at the Trojan horse would be a sight to see.

The River’s Edge Resort is below the dam, and I think they rent out lodging for larger groups as well. If you are into fishing as a group, but getting boats there and having enough space becomes any challenge, they rent out pontoon boats. I knew a group that took a kayak trip down river from the resort. They rent them there, and offer a pickup service. I’ve down it several times fishing. A group of guys just looking to make it an experience could have a good time for sure. They have info on their website, or if doing a trip I can bounce info to you from the times I have done it as well.
