These genetically manipulated fish are a bad deal.. If they ever get slipped into the wild, they will without a doubt outcompete the native species.

They best make them farm them far away from natural bodies of water and with tight regulations. I am not interested in genetically modified fish in the wild.

Me eigther and maybe the same thing as big head carp. My opinion is leave things along. They can hybridize animals and other things by selective breeding, but too restructure genes and chromosomes, I’m not for that, let things take thier natural course.

If this is to feed the masses, I’d prefer they reduce the number of people and we wouldn’t have a feeding problem, on the other hand, a 5# crappie posses some interesting thoughts on a ultra light rig.

Triploid salmon, which is a form of GM in my opinion, have been here for a while. Don’t know how wide spread or deep their plantings are though.
