Cold Spring Partner

I’m confused. Can someone explain to me what’s going on with this partner??

ya a part time officer..sounds like dude locked up dispite 2 rounds being let go

From what I have read he is a part timer. He seems to be having trouble describing what he saw or didn’t see. Time will sort this out. I read they were going to drag the river again searching for the shotgun. When this is all solved there will be a time line for the actions of everybody involved. The police have become very, very good at piecing things together at crime scenes.

Lets remember officer Decker’s family in our prayers.

i agree the time to review this is after it’s all sorted out …the family of the officer killed should be the primary thoughts

There was a comment in an article that there was servailence cameras there? What does that tell us?

that it was above a bar???

The article in the Trib said that the servailance for the bar was in that apartment so Ryan could help keep an eye on things and their was a camera that overlooked the parking lot? Not sure what else the cameras looked at but if they were on then there should be some good info out there.

He said the camera worked, however he hadn’t found a VHS tape for it yet. So, no video.

So what kind of gun was it? One report said it was a shotgun, one said they didnt know but found 20 gauge slug hulls at the scene, and two said it was a handgun.

“One report”…”one said”….”two said”…..So who is it making these statements? Media? If it is it just shows how badly we need to put a muzzle on them. Let the law enforcement make the discovery and announce their finding as they go. The media is in such a frenzy to be first with anything that relevence falls by the wayside.

I’m a long way from cold spring, too far to see any LE updates. I have to read the media’s report… although I try to get it from the big named papers. The all conflict on what happened.

I hear ya on the larger papers, etc, but the media still needs a muzzle. I wasn’t trying to pick at you and sorry if it came off as such, B BK.

well i live in cold spring. from what i hear and read they in a round a bout way are looking at him also??????? but yea from what is being reported his actions that nite are something else. its like he freaked out and he still is on paid admin leave. he never got out of his car to help decker, nor did he pursue the suspect. it gets goofier as more info comes out.

and i agree the less the media reports the better i tihnk they have a chance of getting this solved.
