Alright I have been down in Winona at college now for a full semester and I will be going home this Thursday. Most of you know I am not a big ice guy, I’m known for my love for bass fishing. But for some reason this year the ice is just calling my name Can someone tell me if there was any ice on southern metro lakes, or metro lakes before this snow? Or what is the ice looking like right now?

    Thanks in advance

You couldn’t pay me to set foot on a metro lake after all this snow. Everything I saw around the metro today looked like slop waiting to freeze into weak ice.

    I agree 100%.
