Does anybody know a good local place in Mpls that works on propane (LP) fridges?? Most (if not all) appliance repair centers will not work on anything propane related. There used to be a guy in St Paul that used to work on them; maybe someone has his contact information if he is still around.

Did a quick Google search and only found one place in the Mpls area.

    Thanks,

    What’s it doing ?

Used to be the big problem with propane fridges was the burner would soot up and just needed cleaning.

Few tips. Without turning the refrigerator upside down, it probably just needs to be leveled and cleaned. Propane refrigerators must be exactly level to operate properly. This is largely due to the fact that they do not have compressors to circulate the refrigerant. The burner and vent stack should be examined to make sure they are clean. I mean perfectly clean! There is a possibility that the refrigerant has leaked over time so the refrigerator is not operating to it’s full potential. That would require a licensed technician to repair.
