Where / Who would take a burned out, fiberglass boat for disposal and how much does it cost to get rid of it?

I think letting it float down the river is not the best way to rid myself of the beast.

    Thougths? Ideas welcome

    Thanks

Haul it to a farm pond, shoot a hole in it, and watch it form some new habitat.

Landfill? I have brought 6,000lbs of sheet rock scraps to the one on the north side of elk river and was just over $100 by weight… that was 5 years ago.

Take a sawsall and cut it into small pieces, its alot easier to haul and unload at the landfill.

I brought mine to the landfill in Elk River off of 169 around 7 years ago. I drove it up into the landfill, slid it off the trailer and was on my way. I don’t remember what it cost. You’ll have to call them yourself.

Put it on Craigslist in the for free section. You can git rid of anything there.

Has it ever been registered to you or someone you like?…Is it on a trailer?

Back in my drinkin’ days I got rid of an old Larson in a way I would not approve of now that I’m (finally) all growed up… Parking lot: one end of a rope tied to the stern, the other end to the base of a lamppost,it came off in a parking space just as easy as can be.

(beware of giving a boat/trailer away free to someone who’ll junk the boat to keep the trailer)

I heard BK needs a flower pot in front of his camper that would make a heck of Christmas present
