I was wondering if anyone knows if you can buy grips for the auger handles. Seems like a lot of the newer models have them and might make it a little more comfortable drilling all those holes.
Thanks for any help and advice.

Couldnt you just wrap it with grip tape?

I wasn’t sure if the tape would hold up in the cold and getting wet. Probably going to try that first though.

Try the stuff that’s used on aluminum baseball bats.

Ive been trying different grips for my jiffy for the last 3yrs and I think ive found what works the best…Skateboard deck tape seems to be the most durable and allows for an extremely good hold. Ive tried everything from hockey tape to baseball bat grips and nothing holds up anywhere close to the deck tape. Regular hockey tape gets dry and tears, bball bat grips hold moisture and freeze. Give the deck tape a go and see how it works!

There used to be a tape for hockey sticks called “stick it tape” id suggest trying to use that if they still make it.

    1. Friction tape. Same stuff Frabil sells for holding reels on rods but if you buy it at HD or Menards its about $3 a roll.
    2. Herculiner roll/brush on bedliner
